- only occur where the receiving team requires additional players; and
- not reduce playing opportunities for players registered in the receiving team.
Player movement is managed in accordance with the KSA Player Movement Matrix.
Game Time
Community football is centred around participation and development.
Coaches are encouraged to provide all registered players with fair and meaningful game time throughout the season.
All players must:
- be fully registered through Squadi;
- appear on the electronic team sheet; and
- be eligible under Football West and KSA competition rules.
Players who are not registered are not permitted to participate due to insurance requirements.
Mandatory Equipment
All players must wear:
- Football boots (or suitable sports shoes)
- Club playing shirt
- Shorts
- Socks
- Shin pads (mandatory)
Players not wearing shin pads will not be permitted to participate until compliant.
Match Officials
Referees are appointed by KSA where applicable.
Players, coaches, managers and spectators are expected to:
- respect match officials;
- accept decisions made during play;
- support the development of junior referees; and
- uphold Football West's Codes of Conduct.
Abuse of referees or volunteers will not be tolerated.
Raising Concerns
If an issue arises on game day:
- Raise the matter with your Club Committee where possible.
- If required, it may be escalated to a KSA Committee representative.
- Formal complaints should be submitted in writing as soon as practicable following the incident.
The KSA Behaviour & Discipline process will then be followed where applicable.
Volunteers
Football in Karratha is run almost entirely by volunteers.
We encourage parents and supporters to become involved through:
- Coaching
- Team Management
- Committee roles
- Ground setup and pack up
- Canteen and club events
Without volunteers, community football simply wouldn't be possible.
